 EDITOR REVIEW: NORTHEAST MINNEAPOLIS. Going strong for over 50 years, this piano and polka bar is a Minneapolis mainstay. Hearty, authentic Polish food, sing-along tunes, a rousing polka band, and plenty of opportunities to cut a rug keep locals around and attract out-of-towners. Gigantic cocktails can be had in the piano bar, making the prospect of taking the stage and crooning into the mic a bit more palatable. In the adjacent polka room, the legendary Ruth Adams has been laying down a mean 2/4 beat since before many younger patrons were born.
